The standards of behaviour we expect from everyone working at or with Equity House.
- Chief Executive Officer
- Annually
Our commitment
We build things that change how people find jobs, manage money and stay healthy. That only works if we behave well while we do it. This code sets the baseline: act honestly, treat people with respect, and never trade integrity for a result.
Scope
This policy applies to everyone who works for or with Equity House Group Limited, including employees, directors, contractors, freelancers, interns, volunteers, advisors and, where stated, our suppliers and partners.
What we expect
- Be honest in what you say, write, publish and promise
- Treat colleagues, partners and young people we work with fairly and with respect
- Follow the law and our policies, and ask when you are unsure
- Protect confidential information belonging to us, our partners and our users
- Declare anything that could look like a conflict of interest
- Never offer or accept a bribe, kickback or improper advantage
What happens if the code is broken
Breaches are taken seriously and handled through our disciplinary process. Serious breaches, including dishonesty, discrimination or safeguarding failures, may result in dismissal or the end of a contract, and may be reported to the relevant authorities.
Raising a concern
If you have a concern about behaviour that falls short of this code, raise it with your manager or email contact@equityhouse.io. Concerns can be raised confidentially and you will never be penalised for speaking up in good faith. See our whistleblowing policy for the full route.
Governance and review
This policy is owned by the Chief Executive Officer and approved by the board. It is reviewed at least annually, and sooner if the law, our operations or our risk profile changes.
