Our commitment

We meet our duties under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and take reasonable steps to protect the health, safety and welfare of employees, contractors, participants and visitors.

How we manage it

• Risk assessments for offices, events, production and lone working
• Named first aiders and fire wardens for any space we control
• Incident and near-miss reporting to contact@equityhouse.io, with RIDDOR reporting where required
• Display screen equipment assessments and support for home workers
• Contractor competence checked before work begins on site

Your responsibilities

Take reasonable care of yourself and others, follow the arrangements in place, report hazards, and never continue with an activity you believe is unsafe.

Governance and review

This policy is owned by the Chief Operating Officer and approved by the board. It is reviewed at least annually, and sooner if the law, our operations or our risk profile changes.
