Our commitment

If a young person cannot use what we build, we have not built it. We work to WCAG 2.2 AA as our standard across our websites, products and published content.

What we do

• Semantic markup, visible focus states and full keyboard operability
• Colour contrast checked against AA thresholds
• Motion reduced automatically when a visitor prefers reduced motion
• Alternative text on meaningful images and captions on video
• Testing with screen readers on key journeys before release

If you hit an accessibility barrier on any Equity House product, email contact@equityhouse.io. We aim to respond within five working days and will offer an alternative way to get what you needed.

Governance and review

This policy is owned by the Head of Technology and approved by the board. It is reviewed at least annually, and sooner if the law, our operations or our risk profile changes.
