01
Be ruthlessly kind
Care enough about people to tell them the truth.
Be honest, direct and willing to have difficult conversations, but always with good intentions. Care enough about people to tell them the truth, even when it is uncomfortable, while making sure you never put someone down. Challenge the behaviour, idea or decision, not the person. Give honest feedback, support people to improve and always lead with respect.
02
Be more elephant
Strong, loyal, grounded and focused on the people around you.
Remember the people who have helped you, build relationships that last and look after your community. Stay calm when things get difficult, don't get distracted by short-term noise and never forget where you came from. Be someone others can rely on.
03
Be super coachable
Always be willing to listen, learn and improve.
Don't let your ego get in the way of good advice or constructive feedback. Ask questions, accept when you could have done something better and, most importantly, act on what you've learned. Being coachable is about having the confidence to know that you don't know everything and the ambition to keep getting better.
